This is my finished animation.

Evaluation

Finished Product

In my proposal I said that I was going to making a drawn animation, and that’s what I have achieved. I drew almost everything that is in my animation, apart from one thing and that was the Sherlock Holmes.
I think that my animation matches the audience that I intended it to match, as I showed it to people who like The Big Bang Theory, and they said that they enjoyed it.

Technical aspects, shooting and editing aspects – my animation only had one camera angle and didn’t change throughout.

I was trying to aim for a cartoony looking animation, and to make it stand out with bright colors like it as pop art, and I think that I have achieved this as there is lots of bright colors and it stands out from the background.

I think my animation looks good, it could be a neater around the edges, but overall it looks good. The best thing about my animation is the bit where it says ‘we built a wall (we built the pyramids)’ as it took my ages to figure out who to make it build up like it did, but I finally figured it out I think it looks really good. The thing I dislike most about my animation is the ending, as it just cuts the ‘The Big Bang Theory’ logo, I think that I should have included like a explosion that then revealed the logo.

Production process

Pre-production – to find out what images I would most likely have to draw, I listened to the song, then got the lyrics off the internet, and then annotated it with notes and little visual images.

Production – to draw out all my images it didn’t take me long I say about three hours, because I drew lots of different things, that were all different things until I decided on my final one, then it only took about an hour to color in all my final images.
I put quite a lot of effort into making sure that my images we the right size and right color, as I wanted then to look just right, when the time for actually making my animation in iStopMotion. As this was a project that I had to do on my own, I actually had no help off anyone.

Post-production – Overall it only took me 8 hours spaced out over 2 days to complete my animation, but that isn’t including editing, which took me about thirty minutes. Editing my animation was the easiest thing to do within the whole project.
